Since I haven't been very good at blogging the past couple of months I thought I would slowly start updating everything that has been happening and then go on with what is happening now. Here are some pictures from Christmas. This Christmas we were lucky enough to have a white Christmas for the first time in my life, it was so beautiful with the snow on the trees and on the roofs. The snow created many problems for the Portland and Salem areas, but it wasn't too bad at our house. It was named the arctic blast by all the news stations. The main problem that it created for me was that since I work seasonally at See's Candy I had many snow days with no work. It always ended up either the store was closed because of the weather or my parents would have to drive me. I ended up working only about 4 days which really didn't help with the whole making money over break: ( Other than that the break was good and the weather wasn't too bad. Back to Christmas...This was the best Christmas that I have had that I can remember, we decided as a family to just stay home this year and have Christmas at our house. On Christmas Eve Gramma, Netta, and Rod came to stay the night and then we opened presents on Christmas morning, Phil came out for lunch and then Phil and I went to see the movie the Spirit. It was so nice to not be on a schedule this year and have to be at certain places and certain times. It was relaxing. Another highlight was that we got a Wii for Christmas and guitar hero, it was such a blast to play with everyone involved. Gramma beat us all at bowling, Phil taught me how to golf, and it was just so fun to see everyone having fun and playing together. The last exciting note was that Phil got me a lensbaby for Christmas: ) I was so surprised, I love it: ) It has been a real learning process for me, but such fun to see what I can create with a slight tilt of the lens. He also got me Josh Groban Awake live dvd and Gilmore Girls season one which has been really fun to watch and gives me a nice get away from school. Thank you Phil: ) Overall it was a wonderful Christmas and the best one yet: )
